Information

Founded in 2020 by a news journalist and producer - Ben Hansen-Hicks - Ampersand Speech is a podcast production company, creating thoughtful, creative, and edifying speech programming.

We’re here to help expand and add context to issues and conversations in your daily life, from tackling class and race dynamics in the UK, learning about life in another industry that you’ve been considering breaking into or moving across to, to innovative ways in which to combat climate change around the world.

Our flagship podcast is an interview series, - So, What Do You Do? - hosted by journalist and producer, Ben Hansen-Hicks. Each episode, we talk to another leading figure in TV, journalism, art, culture and more. Finding out what makes them tick, what their day-to-day life includes and - most importantly - what advice they have to share with someone looking to either break into or move across into the industry.

So, What Do You Do? typically runs at around 45-50 minutes per episode, with each new episode airing on Monday afternoons at 3pm, every fortnight when the series is on air.
